CRR - Taming of The Shrew Skit
These past weeks. My eighth period class has been working on creating a skit. Groups had to reiterate a scene of Taming of The Shrew. This was a cool and fun idea. It gave the students the opportunity to show their creativity and thought. This also shows how the students can work with others. I had fun with this activity. I don't feel like we had enough time to create a good enough skit. But with the time being it was good enough. I sorta like acting. It takes skill to be good at it though. Sometimes I cant take myself serious and I start laughing midway through. Overall this was a great idea and a great activity that Ms. Hegeman assigned. Its better than doing a whole bunch of worksheets that in a few weeks I will forget about. Hopefully we can have more hands on activities like this.

How much more time do you think you would have needed to create a stronger skit? It seems to me that your group would have performed much better if you had all had more consistent attendance.
ReplyDeleteI like watching people act out the skits, its fun to watch. I don't think that i have the courage to act in front of the class thou. I also agree that it takes skills to be good at acting especially with the classmates we have.
